An Enhanced Bunny Hop Gamemode Experience
This gamemode was acquired from the original Czarchasm.club website. We extend our gratitude to the original developer for creating such an exceptional gamemode foundation. This project represents a significant evolution and enhancement of that original work.
The gamemode features a consistent black and gold aesthetic throughout all UI elements:
Enterprise-grade database system replacing SQLite, enabling better performance and multi-server capabilities
24 original styles plus 18 new experimental movement mechanics, each with unique physics and special mechanics
Intuitive zone management with contextual buttons and automatic map point detection
Cohesive black and gold design language throughout the entire gamemode UI
Automatically updates with new styles and descriptions. Set your preferred default style to have it automatically loaded when joining the server
Map nomination, custom keys display, improved scoring, and optimized performance
Each style offers a unique gameplay experience with custom physics and mechanics

All zone creation and management buttons are directly accessible on the main admin panel. No need to dig through menus to set up zones.
The "Set Zone" function automatically asks for map points and dimensions. Simply answer the prompts and zones are created instantly without manual coordinate entry.
Designed for administrators who want to work efficiently. Context-sensitive buttons, clear labeling, and logical organization minimize time spent configuring.
Despite the simplified interface, the admin panel retains all powerful features needed for full gamemode control and customization.
My tenure within the niche pursuit of bhopping commenced in the year 2013. Initially, it served as a rather essential mental divertissement, a structured distraction that allowed me to fully absorb the content of various audiobooks and spoken-word broadcasts. This primary function remains its enduring utility.
A few years hence, my interests evolved towards the technical dominion of server orchestration. I successfully navigated the intricacies of hosting Garry's Mod environments via a commercial provider. I configured a server for the DarkRP modification, which, perhaps fortuitously, garnered negligible interest. Had it flourished, the insufficient resources I had allocated would undoubtedly have precipitated a most embarrassing collapse.
Being inherently inclined toward fiscal prudence, I sought alternative, more economical hosting solutions. The acquisition of a Virtual Private Server (VPS) proved to be a considerable boon, securing a significant and most welcome saving. During this period, my time was frequently occupied on a constellation of other BHOP servers, where I observed a persistent and regrettable leitmotif: a pervasive degree of toxic discourse amongst the patrons. Finding this environment entirely distasteful, I was promptly motivated to establish my own, more civilised sanctuary.
In surveying the available game modes, I determined that only the iteration known as "Gravious 8.42" Bhop met my exacting standards. I made a polite request for a copy of this specific proprietary gamemode from the incumbent owner of a rival server, who summarily refused. My subsequent enquiry regarding the source code met with an equally obstinate denial of all information. It is with a touch of irony that I must confess, it was only through the ingenious application of that very individual's self-developed tools that I ultimately secured the coveted original gamemode. Its provenance traces back to the now-defunct http://czarchasm.club/ website, presently under the proprietorship of The House of Poe.
Upon initiating the hosting of the gamemode, it was strongly suggested that I transition from the standard SQLite database to the more robust MySQL architecture. This technical migration proved somewhat intractable, and its successful implementation remained elusive until quite recently. Subsequently, I have undertaken several refinements to the gamemode itself, ensuring a more bespoke and agreeable experience. These include a complete re-theming of the graphical user interface (GUI), the incorporation of various custom-designed add-ons, and the subtle integration of additional functions within the scoreboard interface.
Regarding the aforementioned toxic behaviour, this regrettable element is an affliction common to many online fraternities. Yet, a remarkable exception existed within the Garry's Mod landscape: the community known as "Anex TTT." Though now regretfully closed, it housed the most exemplary staff and player base with whom I have ever had the distinct honour of gaming. The founder, an absolute gentleman known only as Southpaw, maintained an environment entirely devoid of such corrosive elements, fostering an unparalleled atmosphere. The ethos of that environment is the touchstone by which I shall always govern my own community.
I was recently involved with another establishment, the Star Trek TBN RP community, which exhibited an unfortunate hybrid of this prevalent toxicity and the elevated standards observed at Anex. My recent withdrawal from this collective was predicated upon the regrettable realisation that the toxic elements had decisively overwhelmed the decent behaviour. This experience now inspires my next endeavour: the creation of a bespoke Star Trek RP gamemode, designed specifically to offer fellow Trekkies a respectable and dignified forum, entirely free from the customary coarseness of the Garry's Mod ecosystem.
And so, one arrives at the latest chapter in this ongoing BHOP saga on Garry's Mod. I do trust that you find the aforementioned details satisfactory and that you might consider gracing the server with your presence at your convenience.
